Adam has experience with individual and group therapy for those struggling with mental illness including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit disorders, substance abuse and addiction disorders. Adam has conducted crisis interventions, psychological assessments, treatment planning, bereavement and family counseling. Adam is credentialed as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and a Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) and has experience working in substance abuse treatment centers. He has worked with individuals that have chemical dependency issues and co-occurring disorders. Adam utilizes a strengths-based approach while integrating mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathing exercises into various cognitive behavioral and evidence-based techniques.
Prior to obtaining her MSW, Ashley also provided in home short term crises intervention services to children, adolescents and their families diagnosed with psychological/mental health issues.
Ashley utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic theory, strength based approaches, and holistic and mindfulness approaches. She provides a comfortable atmosphere where open and honest communication can take place. Her goal is to allow clients to learn coping tools, challenge negative thinking and live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
